Lavonn Sue Farnsworth December 19, 1928 – May 14, 2019 Funeral services for Lavonn Farnsworth will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Hugo, OK with Pastor Keithen Brown officiating; burial will follow at the Soper Cemetery in Soper, OK. Lavonn passed away May 14, 2019, in Hugo, OK, at the age of 90. Lavonn Loretta (Brittain) Farnsworth was born December 19, 1928, in Anadarko, OK, to Ivan Brittain and Thelma (Vance) Brittain.

She grew up in Ennis, TX before moving to the Hugo area in 1964. She married her love, Robert Farnsworth, in Ames, OK, on May 3, 1951 and were blessed with 60 years of marriage before Robert’s passing. Lavonn and Robert owned Coast to Coast Hardware, later known as Farnsworth Home and Auto Store, for 40 years.

She was a member of Hugo Assembly of God, loved gardening and her plants, and especially watching old westerns. Lavonn loved spending time with friends and family and will be missed by all those that knew her. Lavonn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert.

Lavonn is survived by two sons, Jerald Farnsworth, of Admore, OK, and Ricky Farnsworth, and wife, Nita, of Soper, OK; brother, Lawrence Brittain, and wife, Joyce, of Enid, OK; two sisters, Jeneive Rose, of Huffman, TX, and Erma Kendrick, of Atasca, TX; grandchildren, Kim Brown, Ashton Farnsworth, Jerod Farnsworth, Amanda Winters, and Kevin Farnsworth; and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 17, 2019, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.
