Mr. Lawrence Joseph Lavergne Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Community Chapel Church of God in Christ in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. Lawrence Joseph Lavergne, 55, who entered eternal rest, Sunday, March 3, 2019 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in St. Landry Catholic Cemetery. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Gibson Lavergne; his children, Crystal Lavergne Sadler and son-in-law, Antonio Sadler, Lawrence Antonio Lavergne and Chanita Duhon, Aaron Johnathan Lavergne and daughter-in-law, Gretta Lavergne, and children-in-love, Christopher James Lazard, Robert Dobbins, Rosetta Baker and Renee Carter.

He is also survived by his brother, Ronald Lavergne and sisters, Ursula Matthews, Theresa Lavine, Marie Balogun, Janet Mingo, and Veronica Bent. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Antonio Sadler Jr., De’Mario Sadler, Xavier Sadler and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. His memory lives on in the hearts and minds of a multitude of friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ.

Mr. Lavergne was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Lavergne, Jr. and Evelyn Theresa Doucet Lavergne. Visiting hours will be observed from 7:00 AM to 10:45 AM Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Williams Funeral Home. Share words of comfort with the Lavergne family at www.
