Brian G. Orach, 41, of Tallahassee, passed away on May 29, 2019. Brian was born in Gainesville and grew up in West Lawn, PA and Naples, FL. He graduated Barron Collier HS in Naples in 1995.

He was a Merit Scholar, AP Scholar and National Merit Finalist in 1995. He graduated Magna cum Laude from Amherst College with a BA degree in 2000. He was a recipient of a Harvard Fellowship in a Ph.D. program.

He received his Master’s degree from Harvard GSAS in 2004. Brian is survived by his mother, Susan Orach of Tallahassee; his brother, Kevin Orach (Christy) of Pace, FL; sister, Kathleen Baughman (Herbert) of Pace, FL; one uncle, Herbert Andrew Hopper, III (Rose) of Arizona; one aunt Margaret H. McCants (Gary) of California; one nephew, James and one niece, Katie. Brian was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Orach.

You will be forever missed and always loved and remembered as a wonderful son with a beautiful mind, amazing wit and a loving heart.
