Obituary for Lawrence Raymond Hilton Born April 1, 1946, raised in the Putnam area of Connecticut. Died on Sunday October 7, 2018, at Community Hospital of cancer. He is survived by his wife Lorraine Hilton, his daughters.

Lindsay Williams and husband David of Howell, Kerry Cheney and husband Colin of Red Bank, Tasha Degenais and husband Nicholas of Dayville, Connecticut, sons Jordan Hilton of Dayville, Connecticut, Jarvis Hilton and wife Emily of East Hartford Connecticut and his grandchildren Addison, Clark and Adrian , brother in law Keith Williams and wife Theresa of Middle, NJ sister in law Amy Hilton of Danielson, Connecticut, nephews Michael Hilton of East Hartford Connecticut, Wade Hilton of Danielson, Connecticut, Tim Williams of Middle NJ and Stephen Williams of Middle, NJ and nieces Lu Ann Sajjadi and husband Shar of Palm Coast, Florida, Melissa Richard and husband Michael of Middle, NJ and grand nephews Charlie and Jaime Richard of Middle, NJ. He served in the United States Airforce as a member of the Chaplin’s Corp during the Vietnam War and was for a time stationed in Taiwan. He was a retired clerk for the Department of Transportation for the state of Connecticut.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Lady of the Pines Council #9852 of Whiting, NJ and was a 4th Degree Knight and member of the John D McMahon Assembly # 1926 of Toms River, NJ He was a past Grand Master of the Putnam Lodge #46 of the Masons, Connecticut and a member of the Harmony Lodge #18 Toms River, New Jersey. A resident of Country Walk since 2007 he served on the ARC committee and chaired the Ham Radio Club for several years. Larry was a member Jersey Shore Amateur Radio Society and his call letters were KC2UHJ.
