Leah Anne Egan July 19, 1985 – February 24, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Flemington, NJ– Leah Anne Egan, 33, entered into eternal life on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Born in Summit, NJ, daughter of Martin A. and Theresa G. (nee Stanko) Egan, she had resided in Clark, NJ, prior to settling in Flemington thirty-two years ago. Leah was a graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School; she was a member of their girls’ varsity softball team which reached the state semifinal playoffs.

She was a member of the Flemington Flames woman’s fastpitch travel softball team of which her father Marty was a coach. Leah enjoyed swimming at the Flemington Community pool and was a member of the swim club, as well as a member of the Hunterdon Central Regional High School girls’ varsity swimming team. Some passions of Leah included being an animal lover, taking trips to the beach, photography, and thrill seeking at local amusement parks.

Leah is predeceased by her Godmother, Grammie Murial Wescott and Godfather, Uncle Walter Wescott. Leah is survived by her adored daughter, Marley Ann Maier who was the love of her life; loving parents, Martin A. Egan and Theresa G. (nee Stanko) Egan; dear sister, Dayna Egan-Miller and her husband Timothy Miller; cherished niece, Skyler Madysen Miller; caring maternal grandmother, Kazimiera Wroblewski; Aunt Elizabeth Wescott; cousin, Patrick Wescott; and canine friend, “Isabella”. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Saturday, March 2 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, March 2 at 6:30 p.m. with Fr.

Thomas Serafin officiating the prayers. At the family’s request, the disposition will be private.
