Leeann Giordano (nee Hughes) age 82 years of Homestead at Harmony in Gibbstown died Friday May 24, 2019 in Inspira Hospital, Woodbury. She was the wife of the late Nick Giordano who predeceased her in 1975. Leeann went to Archway Training School and Gloucester County College for nursing for two years.

For many years while her sons were growing up she ran the concession stand for Gibbstown Little League. She worked at Nissinger Pharmacy in Paulsboro for 8 years and later at Pitman Manor as a nurses assistant for 21 years. Leeann enjoyed playing Bingo, spending time at the campground with family in Woodbine and telling it like it is.

She is survived by her two sons, Nick Giordano of Woodbine, John and Jeanette Giordano of Logan Twp. , her beloved grandchildren, Nick, Jimmy and Jessica; her brother, Bud Hughes of Woodbine and Ocala, FL and her sister, Joyce Oliner of Pitman. The Funeral Service will be held at 8 PM Thursday May 30, 2019 in the McBride – Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family Thursday evening after 7 PM until service time. Inurnment Private at New St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Swedesboro. Memories can be shared at www.
