Lelaus Wayne Oden, 79, of Cullman, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018. He was born December 11, 1938, to Oval C. and Suzie Mae (Holcombe) Oden in St.Clair County. Mr. Oden was a machinist by trade and was employed by Nichalson File for many years.

Lelaus was a member of Mt. Vernon Primitive Baptist Church. He also served our country in the Air National Guard.

His service to our country is appreciated greatly. Mr. Oden is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Danny Joe Oden. Survivors include his two daughters, Tammy (Pete) Hann, Tara Spears; sister, Floise (Delane) Bryant; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday, November 25, 2018, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family an hour prior to services, from 1 p.m. until services begin at 2 p.m. Holly Pond Funeral Home is honored to serve the Oden family.
