OBITUARY Lenora “Babe” Bauer July 22, 1930 – September 11, 2018 Lenora “Babe” Bauer, age 88, of Bellevue, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 11, 2018. Lenora was born July 22, 1930. Babe is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents Alexander and Josephine (Slonika) Zawojski; husband Harry Bauer; brothers Felix, Stanley, Pete, Joseph, Richard, Frank, Bernard Zawojski; sisters Stella Ban, Josephine Rudnick and infant sister Dolores Zawojski She dedicated her life in service to her family and community. Babe was the first women admitted to the Bellevue/Avalon Kiwanis club and also served as president. While serving on the women’s auxiliary at Suburban General Hospital, she obtained over five thousand volunteer hours.

Memorial donations can be made in honor of Babe to Marian Hall personal care home, Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth , and/or Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave. Avalon, PA 15202.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at Assumption Church at 10am. Interment will follow at Christ Our Redeemer cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.
