Obituary for Leona Pearl Powell Leona Lane Powell, 98, of Fort Worth, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018. Leona was born in Vinita, Okla. on Sept 2, 1919.

She married Charles Allen Powell Dec. 3, 1938. She had three sons, Ty, Billy and Frankie, all of Fort Worth.

Leona worked at J.C. Penney for 29 years and has lived in Fort Worth since 1950. Leona was a member of the First Baptist Church of Haltom City since 1975. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allen Powell; and sons, Frankie and Billy Powell.
