Mr. Nipper was born on April 1, 1946 in Knoxville, TN. He made his living as truck driver for 50 plus years, and was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life.
He was preceded in death by parents, Harvey Nipper and Margaret Nipper; son, Thomas Nipper; and 6 siblings. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, David and Farrah Nipper; sister, Edna Renfroe; brothers, Tommy Nipper, Bobby Nipper, Paul Nipper, Tracy Barfield and Buddy Nipper; honorary grandson, Caleb Nipper; and special nieces, Amy Nipper-Smith and Haley Nipper. A celebration of life service for Mr. Leonard H. Nipper will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home.
