Salem, Indiana Leonard J. Cannon, 48, entered eternal life on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany. He was a dog trainer, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints in Salem and a volunteer for the Crusade for Children. Leonard is preceded in death by his mother, Phillis Cannon, grandparents, Arthur and Leona Cannon, Ruth and John Peake, Sr., uncle, John Peake, Jr., aunt, Patricia Mudd and his beloved dog, Sodapop.

Surviving are his father, Arthur Warren Cannon, Jr., Clarksville, wife, Sarah Cannon, Salem, brothers, Rick (Holly) Cannon, Memphis and Allen (Angie) Cannon, Jeffersonville. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 12-8PM and anytime after 9AM until the time of service on Monday.
