Leroy Loggins, Sr. was born on July 7, 1950 to the late Mrs. Lula Bell Butts Loggins and Mr. William Oscar Loggins, Sr He passed from this life on April 16, 2018 at approximately 6:30 AM at Winona Manor, Winona, MS. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt.

Zion Methodist Church, Kilmichael, MS. When his health over the years began to fail, he remained a supportive member of the Church financially and in all areas. Leroy attended Montgomery County Vocational High School.

He worked a number of years at Kimco and later worked at Montgomery County Unit System for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lula Bell Butts Loggins; father, William Oscar Loggins, Sr.; three brothers, Albert Loggins, Dennis Loggins, and William Oscar (Buck) Loggins, Jr.; a sister, Mattie Loggins Thompson; a daughter, Laura Nakita Loggins Sanders; and two sons, Leroy Loggins, Jr. and Ray Charles Cunningham. Leroy leaves to cherish his memories his loving, devoted and caring wife of forth-nine years, Bobbie Cunningham Loggins; four sons, Christopher Deroy Loggins, Undra Peeples, Michael (Antionette) Cunningham and Kelvin Davidson; two daughters, Lonza Kay (Jimmie) Sanders and Donna Gary; five sisters, Dorothy Davidson (George Ellis), Lula Mae (Michael) Wilson, Jeanette (James “Robert Earl”) Daniels, Dorothy Rash (Eddie) Brock, and Carolyn Purnell; three brothers, Jimmie Lee (Glenda) Loggins, Burnell Loggins, and Ezell Loggins; a special niece, Teresa “Tresia” Davidson Myles; godson, Cortney “Clyde” Hill; three special cousins, Burnell (Marie) Goldman, Minister Richard Loggins, and Henry “Skipper” Harrison, Jr.; three sisters-in-law, Gwen Cunningham, Daisy Cunnigham and Ella Loggins; two brothers-in-law, Johnny Cunningham and John Thompson, Jr.; a son-in-law, William Bernard Sanders; a daughter-in-law, Mattie Tyson Peeples; eighteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, special caregivers, Johnny Thompson and family.
