Leroy “Midge” Donald Asche April 29, 1926 – May 28, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Leroy Donald “Midge” Asche, age 93 of Sanford, died Tuesday (5/28/2019) at his home. He was born on April 29, 1926, son of the late Charles Asche and Esther Raney Asche. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Gerald Asche, Hershel Asche, Clarence Asche, Carl Asche, Robert Asche, Gene Asche, Goldie Richter and Sylvia Spur.

Midge was a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II as a gunner in combat. He loved to travel both in the United States and abroad and was also a Mason and a Shriner. Services will be conducted on Monday at 10:00am at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake with Chaplin Donnie Addison officiating.

Surviving is his loving partner and best friend Dolly Ferguson of the home. Daughters Vickie Rosemeyer of Indiana and Netha Cox of Sanford, NC. Brother Floyd Asche of Delaware, IN, sister Clara Felix of Osgood, IN.
