Lester C. ‘Gravedigger’ Wolfe, age 88 of Cowansville, PA. went to his heavenly home on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Sugarcreek Personal Care Home, with his family by his side. Born Sunday, March 9, 1930 the son of the late I. Lester and Anna Kretzman Wolfe.

He was a member of Saint Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, Kittanning, PA. He owned and operated his own backhoe business and dug graves for over 50 years. Lester is survived by a daughter Barbara (Bill) Hogenmiller of Karns City, PA.

, a son Larry (Sharon) Wolfe of Kittanning, a daughter Brenda Flinspach of Kittanning, a son Kenneth (Laurie) Wolfe of Virginia. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and 2 sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Timothy Wolf, a granddaughter, a sister and a brother.

Lester’s family would like to thank Three Rivers Hospice and Sugarcreek Personal Care Home for their loving care for our dad. There is no visitation or viewing, as everything is private. Arrangements are entrusted to STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, of Downtown Chicora, PA.
