Lewis Edwin Hoy, 85, 157 Macs Lane, Renovo, PA died October 6, 2018 at his home. Born June 23, 1933 in Lock Haven he was the son of the late John H. and Myrtle Bolopue Hoy. On Sept.

24, 1955 in Lock Haven he married Emma Jo Bailey who survives at home. Lew was the last of 15 siblings. Lewis was a 1950 graduate of the Lock Haven High School and had attended Lock Haven State Teachers College.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1950-1953. Lew was a life member of the Baltimore Masons and Bricklayers Union , Renovo Lodge 495 F & AM, the American Legion, and the USS WASP Assoc. He had worked for French Construction Services for 21 years and was self employed as Rifle Constructors for 25 years.

Lew also spent 36 years raising show and racing Quarter horses in Maryland and Colorado. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Cynthia Lou Hoy Stahle, Renovo, PA 1 Son: Michael (Marilou) Hoy, Seven Springs, PA 1 Granddaughter: Samantha Jo Stahle (Jamie L.) Pretzel, Bruceton Mills, WV *** Preceded in death by: 7 Sisters: Marilla Englert, Beatrice Stover, Ruth Crissman, Annette Freeze, Virginia Lewicki, Helen Powers and Shirley Dietz 7 Brothers: Stanford, Bruce, Ross, Sam, Jack, Fred and Ken Hoy.

A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family with no public visitation.
