OBITUARY Lewis Edward Turner July 20, 1942 – January 5, 2019 Lewis Edward Turner, Jr., 76, of Forest passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 following a brief illness. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Diane Turner. Born in Norfolk, July 20, 1942, he was the son of the late Lewis Edward Turner and Mae Elizabeth Webb Wright.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Gail Turner Staples. Lewis was a construction superintendent and retired from Faulconer Construction. He proudly served his country in the US Army.

He loved to ride his Harley and have breakfast with his many special friends every weekend. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Kenneth Wayne Turner and his wife Nancy of Forest; his daughter, Amy Turner Falls and her husband Brad of Miami, FL; three brothers, Wayne Turner and wife Rosa of Evington, Kenneth Turner and wife Betty Marie of Forest and Jamie Wright and wife Jessica of Forest; his sister-in-law, Jeanie Campbell and her husband Earl of Myrtle Beach; five grandchildren, Amanda Godsey, Brett Turner, Drew Turner, Madison Falls and Lauren Falls and three great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. Casual attire is requested. The family requests memorial contributions be made in his memory to the Wounded Warriors Project, www.
