Obituary for Lexie Rowe Stanley Lexie Rowe Stanley, age 97, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Wise, Virginia. She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and the last of the Rowe generation. She was a member of the Cumberland Church of the Brethern.
Mrs. Stanley was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Stanley; her parents, Rancy and Drucilla Senter rowe; her daughters, Gail Wallace and Glema Stanley; her brothers, Curt Rowe, Avery Rowe, Gene Rowe, Rodney Rowe, and Paul Rowe; and her sisters, Christine Stone, Hester Stanley, and Icy Sykes. Survivors Include: One Son: Dennis (Drema) Stanley of Clintwood, Virginia One Daughter: Patricia (Garry) Farmer of Clintwood, Virginia Grandsons: Scott Wallace, Dewayne Farmer, Darren Wallace, Dustin Stanley, and Devon Stanley Great Grandchildren: Miranda Abbott, Amanda and Emily Wallace, David and Rebecca Farmer, Dalton and Holly Stanley Several Great Great Grandchildren The family would like to say a special thanks to Garry Farmer, Lexie’s son in law, for the special care he gave her. Weather permitting, the family will receive friends Monday, December 10, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with a song service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Cumberland Church of the Brethren with Jimmy Hopson, Harold Rose, and Tim Mullins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Main Street, Clintwood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Dennis “Monk” Stanley, Gregory Scott Wallace, Garry Dewayne Farmer, Darren Randall Wallace, Dustin Stanley, and Devon Stanley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Garry Farmer, Gary Sykes, Ronnie Sykes, Larry Rowe, James Allen Rowe, Carlos Stanley, and Mitchell Fleming.
