Obituary for Lillian Alta Midgett Lillian Alta Midgett was born on November 30, 1935, a daughter to the late Don Beers and the late Gladine (Mason) Beers. On September 9, 1954, Lillian was united in marriage to Ellis Midgett. Lillian entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at her residence having reached eighty-three years of age.

Survivors include four sons: Dennis (Pam) Midgett, Richard Midgett, David (Ramona) Midgett, and Douglas (JoAnna) Midgett; three daughters: Donna (David) Lucas, Connie Reynolds, and Tammy Midgett; three siblings: Fay King, Kay (Dave) Nicks, and Ray (Lynn) Beers; sister-in-law, Anna June Midgett; eleven grandchildren: Caitlin Midgett, Matthew (Kara) Midgett, Kelly Midgett, Alex Midgett, Nicholas Midgett, Christopher Midgett, Jonathan Lucas, Joshua (April) Reynolds, Jeremy Reynolds, and , Jimmy (Ashley) Midgett; and sixteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Lillian is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ellis Midgett; son, Arthur Glenn Midgett; granddaughter, Jessica Midgett; and siblings: Earlen (Jenny) Beers, Ivan Beers, Bertha (Floyd) Hill, and Maybelle Beers. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at DeClue Funeral Home, beginning at 9:30 a.m. A funeral to honor Lillian will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kevin Taylor officiating.
