Obituary for Linda Carol Agosto Linda Carol Agosto, age 69, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on August 26, 2018. She was born to Jesse and Dolly (Rose) Shook on November 1, 1948 in Beaver, OK. She graduated from Beaver High School in 1966.

She attended Apostolic Faith Bible College and later attended Rhema Bible College where she graduated in 1983. Linda accepted Christ as her savior as a teenager and devoted her life to living for Him from that moment. She loved children of all ages which showed in her chosen professions.

She was a youth pastor for many years and was the librarian for Southlawn Elementary for over 20 years until she retired from USD-480. After retirement she continued to substitute teach until she moved to Yukon, OK in May 2018. Linda was always a strong advocate for children and was a foster parent for many years.

She was a member of the Rhema Alumni Association. She was a member of CFAN formerly known as Christian Life Center for over 30 years where she was the church treasurer for many of those years. She had recently become a member of New Beginnings Church.

Linda married Frank Agosto on April 20, 1992. While married to Frank, they adopted three children who were Linda’s absolute pride and joy. Survivors Include: 2 Sons Atticus Agosto (Becky) Liberal, KS Shane Agosto (Alexis) Dumas, TX 1 Daughter Brittney Agosto (Martin) Oklahoma City, OK 2 Foster Daughters Fawn Black (Kevin) Satanta, KS Coey Wagenseller Wichita, KS 1 Brother Leon Shook (Linda) Holcomb, KS 2 Sisters Sandy Gordon (Glen) Yukon, OK Bonnie Renfrow Lewisville, TX 2 Aunts Bea Ragan Beaver, OK Drueen Rose Beaver, OK 10 Grandchildren Many nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2018 at the New Beginnings Church, 2021 N. Western Avenue, Liberal, KS with Pastor Ken Willard, presiding. Burial will be in the Liberal Cemetery, Liberal, KS.

Visitation will be 9:00 am to 8:00 p.m. Thursday with the family present from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Brenneman Funeral Home to greet friends.
