Linda was born on November 6, 1944 in Irving, TX to Roye Bennett Smith & Charlsie Faye Helton Smith. She was a loving, caring mother & grandmother.

She was a member of Red River Cowboy Church in Sherman, TX. She was a caregiver in the health industry. She is survived by her children; Suzanne Hawkins & Jerry of Denison, TX, and Mike King & wife, Krista of Stratford, TX, brother; Bill smith & wife Patsy of Lake Dallas, two grandchildren; Jayton Hawkins & Weston Hawkins of Denison, TX, and the love of her life, Robert L. Tripp of Denison, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roye & Charlsie Smith. A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 3, 2019, 2:00 P.M. at American Funeral Service Chapel, Denison, TX. Pastor Novice Northington will officiate.
