OBITUARY Linda Jean Wilson March 10, 1942 – October 9, 2018 LINDA JEAN WILSON HICKORY – Linda Jean Wilson, 76 of Hickory passed away on October 9, 2018. Born on March 10, 1942 in Avery County, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Frankie Blair. Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She enjoyed quilting, growing flowers, the mountains, and volunteering at Christian Ministries. Survivors include her husband of fifty four years, James R. Wilson of the home, children, Kimberly Isner and husband David of Hinton, WV, Robin Ross of Statesville, Robert Wilson and wife Annette of Hickory, Jeffrey Wilson and wife Tiffany of Hildebran; grandchildren, Shane Boone of WV, Brooke King and husband Justin of Raleigh, John Rogers of Hudson, Katie Gill and husband John of WV, James Rogers of Hickory, Seth Wilson of Maui, HI, Aaron Isner of WV, Camdyn Abee of Hildebran; great-grandchildren, Kayley Davis of WV, Spencer Rogers of Lenoir, Vin Rogers of Salisbury; brothers, Robert Murr of Avery County, and James Blair of Hickory. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 2 PM-3 PM at Catawba Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Reflections of Christ Ministries, 110 3rd St SE, Hildebran, NC 28637 or Carolina Caring, 3975 Robinson Rd, Newton NC 28658. Condolences may be left at www.
