Obituary for Linda Joyce Chitwood Linda Joyce McCord Chitwood, age 74 of Boaz, formerly of Fort Payne, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Chitwood was born on October 13, 1944 to the late Cecil & Selma Laney McCord in Centre, Alabama. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church in Crossville, Alabama.

Funeral services for Linda Chitwood will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. hour of service. Mrs. Chitwood is survived by her children, Regina & Steve Wood, Greg & Charlie Reed, Jeremy Chitwood, Jennifer & Tyler Bankston, Ken & Alexandra Chitwood, and Lisa & David Harrison; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren with one on the way.
