Linda Olson Berry, beloved wife, friend and sister in Christ, went home to be with the Lord July 16, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Linda was born and raised in Houston, graduated from Sam Houston State University and the University of Kentucky with degrees in education and library science. She was a school librarian in several Houston schools and FWISD’s Wedgewood Middle School from 1993 to 2002.

She finished her working career at Silver Creek Materials in 2015. Linda was the wife of Rev. Mark Berry, executive director of Bread Basket Ministries of Fort Worth.

She labored together with Mark and the volunteers of Bread Basket Ministries to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and meet the needs of the poor since 1992. Linda is survived by her husband Mark Berry, her brother Randy Olson, his wife Marsha and their children, Jason Olson, Wesley Olson and Kimberly Young, of Kerrville, Texas. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 20018 at 10:00 A.M. at Emerald Hills Funeral Home 500 Sublett Road, Kennedale, Texas.
