Linda M. Shamrock (nee Walp) Passed away Monday May 13, 2019. Linda was born in North Tonawanda on May 22, 1948, daughter of the late Rosemary (nee Monaco) Walp and John Walp Sr. Beloved sister of Cindy (Larry) Sparks, Jacqueline Walp, Jennifer (Phil) Petoniak, & John (Tully Moeller) Walp Jr. Survived by nieces & nephews: Amanda (Fred) Ohlson, Lawrence Sparks IV, Elizabeth & Stephan Petoniak, Makenna, John III, Ryan, & Adam Walp. Survived by great nieces & nephews: Tyler Sparks & Madison Ohlson.

Linda was active in the Imperial Court of Buffalo. She graduated from D’Youville College in 1980, with a nursing degree. She worked as an RN in the ICU and ER at Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital for 35 years.

She had served as Union Rep and President of the SEIU. Linda along with her sister Jacqueline volunteered for multiple charities over the years. Family and friends may call Saturday May 18, 2019 in the WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 533 Meadow Drive North Tonawanda from 3 to 7 PM.

Remembrance Services will begin at 7 PM. Private Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Tonawanda.
