Linda’s Obituary Linda (Potts) Mustion, 58, of Hershey, passed away at the University of Colorado Hospital in Denver on Friday, February 15, 2019, and through her death others were saved with her gift of being a donor. Linda was born January 26, 1961, at Cambridge, Nebraska to Bill and Shirley Potts. Her family lived in various towns throughout the Midwest and she attended North Glenn High School in Colorado.

On May 26, 1979, Linda married Rick Snide in Denver and they had two daughters, Jessica and Amanda. They made their home in Colorado living in Aurora, Northglenn and later Kiowa. Linda later married Richard Mustion on July 24, 2004, and this union gave Linda three additional children, Scott Mustion, Kerry Sides and Terry Mustion.

Linda and Richard made their home in Hershey where Linda was the Clerk for the Village of Hershey until her health forced her to retire in 2010. Linda was a member of Valley Christian Church and enjoyed working with children. She was a mentor for Teammates at Hershey, spent several years as a Girl Scout troop leader, and enjoyed working with children at Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years.

She also enjoyed many crafts as well as teaching the next generation to sew and crochet. Linda was an avid Denver Broncos fan and Nebraska Husker fan. One of her favorite things to do was host a card night or football watching party.

She especially LOVED her family and friends and spending time with them. Linda will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband Richard, of Hershey; children, Jessica (David) McKay, of Raytown, Missouri, Amanda Snide, Scott Mustion and Kerry (Mike) Sides, all of Hershey and Terry (Kim) Mustion, of Cambridge; 11 grandchildren; her mother, Shirley Junker, of Indianola; three sisters, Kay (Larry) Brew, of Austin, Texas, Judy (Randy) Ekx, of Gill, Colorado, and Cindy Schluckebier, of Indianola; two brothers, Walter (Judy) Potts, of Stillwater, Minnesota, and Bill Potts, of Gill, Colorado; and other family.

Linda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Nellie Potts; father, Bill Potts; and younger sister, Diana Nash. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2019, at Valley Christian Church with Pastor Brent Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Indianola Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore, which is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be shared at odeanchapel.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to the Hershey Volunteer Fire Department of the Gift of Hope.
