Hartsville – Mrs. Linda O’Neal Shiflet, 75, went home to Heaven on Thursday evening, March 14th, 2019, at Carolina Pines with her family by her side. The service celebrating her life will be held at 3:00 on Sunday afternoon, March 17th, 2019, from Kelleytown Baptist Church with Reverend Gary Anderson officiating. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Shiflet was born in Hartsville, a daughter of the late Wiley E. & Eula Mae Hendrix O’Neal. Linda was a member of Kelleytown Baptist Church, a church she dearly loved. Some of her favorite hobbies included going to the beach and mountains with her Sunday School Class while enjoying gospel concerts.

Linda was employed for many years with D&G Printers and will be remembered as a lady who had little, yet gave a lot. She is survived by her daughters, Kim (Paul) Kelly of Charleston and Teresa (Mickey) Armstrong of Hartsville; grandchildren: R.J. Gainey of Charleston, Josh Armstrong of Florence, Ryan Kelly of Charleston, Tori Armstrong of Hartsville, Grey Kelly of Charleston, Patrick Armstrong, II of Hartsville; brothers, E.W. O’Neal and Bobby (Becky) O’Neal, both of Hartsville and several nieces and nephews; aunt, Sharon Nesbitt. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Alfred O’Neal and a sister-in-law, Ann O’Neal.

Memorials may be made to Kelleytown Baptist Church at 2609 Kelleytown Road, Hartsville, South Carolina 29550. Norton Funeral Home of Hartsville is honored to be serving the Shiflet family.
