OBITUARY Linda S. Rideout June 26, 1950 – January 26, 2019 Scarborough – Linda S. (Green) Rideout, 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 26, 2019 following a long illness. Linda was born in Portland, ME, the daughter of Phyllis (Clish) and Thomas Green on June 26, 1950. Linda grew up in Portland and attended Portland schools.

One faithful day when Linda was in a laundry mat, she managed to bump into her future husband Charles E. Rideout Sr. Linda and Charles got married February 4, 1967 and together they had three children. Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her dogs and enjoyed a good book. Linda is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles Ridout Sr.; daughter, Theresa (Rideout) Jackson and her husband Kevin; her son, Charles Rideout Jr.; daughter, Lisa (Rideout) Lymburner and her husband David; three grandchildren, Jamie Little, Lindsey Little and Tristen Lymburner; three great-grandchildren, Lucas Little, Jax Little and Evielynn Entrich; her four brothers, Paul Green, Ernest Green, James Green and Thomas Green; her beloved dogs, Lucy and Snoop and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 3-5 PM at Jones, Rich and Barnes Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. Portland, ME 04103. A Celebration of Linda’s life will be conducted on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 3 PM at Jones, Rich and Barnes Funeral Home.
