Linda S. Stanzel October 23, 1949 – February 03, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Upload Photo| Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Linda S Stanzel, age 69, a resident of HIL Whitetail Group Home, Manitowoc, died Sunday, February 3, 2019 at home. She was born on October 23, 1949, daughter of the late Reinhardt and Marion (Bruns) Stanzel. Linda was a participant at Ascend Services, formerly Holiday House, for over 50 years.

She was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Linda loved shopping, adding more ‘bling’ to her collection of jewelry, and spending time with her family and friends. Linda was a very cheerful and optimistic person, who always had a smile and a hug for you.

And she was sure to let you know she was happy to see you. Linda loved people. Survivors include three brothers: Michael (Ronda) Stanzel, Two Rivers, Robert Stanzel, Sturgeon Bay, and Mark Stanzel (fiancé: Kim Sorenson), Two Rivers; 24 nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and nephews; her HIL-Whitetail friends: Jessica, Mary, Jan, Betty, Shaylene, Ronald, and Heidi; the staff at HIL-Whitetail: Aubrey, Traci, Janice, Jennifer, Heather, Sarah, and Rebecca; and her special friend: Brian.

She was also preceded in death by her parents: Reinhardt and Marion Stanzel; her stepmother Adella; two sisters: Sandra (Kermitt) Bennett, Nancy (Donald) Barneson; grandparents: Linda and Herman Kreie, and Frank and Matilda Stanzel. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM (noon) on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating at the service will be Father Brian Belongia.

Cremation will take place following the service and Linda will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc at a later date. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.
