Linda Sue Howerton known to the little ones as “GiGi” of Ft Gibson, OK went to be with her husband Bill on Sunday, April 28th, 2019, at the age of 79. Linda was born February 15, 1940 in Muskogee to Roscoe and Minnie (Hill) Bingham. She was raised in Muskogee, OK where she raised her children.

She later met her husband, William (Bill) Howerton, and married him on May 10th, 1983; before moving to Warner. Linda enjoyed crocheting, bingo, her grandchildren and later her great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Roy Bingham, Don Bingham, and Jimmy Bingham; two sisters, Margaret Alston, Maravon Bingham and her husband William (Bill) Thomas Howerton.

She leaves behind her children, daughter, Angel Hughey and husband Ken of Ft. Gibson, OK; son, Brent Haire of Ft. Gibson, OK; 3 grandchildren, Morgan Parsons and husband Michael of Porum, OK, Trevor Massey and wife Derica of Sallisaw, OK and Makenzie Shinn and husband Harold of Muskogee, OK; 8 great-grandchildren, Emercyn Parsons, Dallas Shinn, Maddox Shinn, Analyn Massey, Case Parsons, Haizlee Massey, Connor Shinn, Jameson Massey plus one bonus great-granddaughter, Kaya Brown; special niece, Connie Monholland and husband Leon of Wagoner, OK; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and one lifelong best friend, Dee Paige of Coweta, OK.

A family conducted memorial service celebrating Linda’s life will be held on Thursday May 2nd, 2019 at 4:00PM at New Hope Assembly of God in Muskogee with dinner for the family following. The family wishes to send a heartfelt “Thank you” to Traditions Home Care and Tanya, Rosetta, Vonnie, Bob and the entire Good Shepherd Hospice Muskogee staff as well as Amy Rosales, an honorary daughter.
