Obituary for Linda Unger Linda Unger, age 70, of Carroll, died Friday, August 3, 2018 at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2018 at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Ansgar Cemetery, St. Ansgar, Iowa.

Visitation will be held from noon until 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to New Hope Village, 1211 E. 18th Street, Carroll, Iowa 51401. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll, and online condolences may be left for Linda’s family at www.

sharpfuneral.com. Linda Unger was born on November 14, 1947 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Bud Unger, and Lorraine (Adams) Unger. Linda resided at New Hope Village in Carroll for over thirty years.

While at New Hope, Linda enjoyed the residents, and staff that became her second family. She enjoyed listening to music, and DVD movies she listened to at home. She will be cherished by the residents, and staff of New Hope Village.

Left to remember Linda is her sister: Michelle Sprio of Waterloo; her brother Craig (Connie) Patava of Waterloo; her niece: Kelli (Joe) Lindahl of Chicago, IL; nephew: Joe (Sarah) Patava of Waterloo; and her New Hope Village Family. Linda was preceded in death by her mother: Lorraine Sprio and her maternal grandparents: Eugene and Laura Adams.
