Obituary of Linda Jo Cassidy Linda Jo Cassidy, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Linda was born on January 16, 1946 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was the daughter of Joseph Wells and Maxine McDowell.

On December 20, 1969, Linda was united in marriage to Milton T. Cassidy in Kansas City, Missouri. They shared 20 years of marriage. Linda’s love for her family was far and above the greatest and most important thing in her life.

At times she expressed herself through her love for the arts. Drawing, in her high school and college years, and painting later in life. She was a professed Christian and her favorite scripture passage was Psalm 23.

Linda is survived by her children, Robert McDowell of Amazonia, Missouri, Kelly Ann Lindesmith of Jefferson City, Missouri, David Cassidy and Michael Cassidy both of Osage Beach, Missouri and her eldest grandson, whom she raised as her own, Christopher Cassidy of St. Louis, Missouri. Three wonderful grandchildren, Michell Rouse of Overland Park, Kansas, Jeremy Lindesmith of Amarillo Texas and Michael Cassidy II from Osage Beach, Missouri. Linda was blessed by her first great-grandchild, Atticus Lindesmith in 2017 but was taken from us too soon before welcoming two additional great-grandchildren, Maxine Cassidy and baby Rouse, both expected to bless this life in June 2019.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton T. Cassidy, her parents, Ray and Maxine McDowell and her brother Allen Wells. A celebration of life is tentatively scheduled for May 4, 2019 at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri.
