Obituary for Lindle Leon Wiley (Buffalo) Lindle Leon Wiley son of the late Carl F. and Ethel Verlee (McCaw) Wiley was born on October 8, 1940 in Washington, IA, and departed this life on November 26, 2018 in Buffalo, MO. At the time of his passing he was 78 years, 1 month, and 17 days of age. Lindle was reared and attended school in Winfield, IA.

After her graduated in 1958 he went to a trade school in Philadelphia, PA to where he learned to apply floor coverings. After he finished the trade school he moved to Quincy, IL for a short time and worked for Pepsi. He then moved to Beatrice, NE where he worked as a maintenance supervisor for a Retirement Home for five years.

After his time in Nebraska, he moved to Buffalo, MO and was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Kerr on October 1, 1984. Lindle was a member of the March Assembly of God Church and truly enjoyed reading his Bible. He could quote any scripture asked of him from memory.

Lindle was preceded in death by his wife Patricia; his parents; one step-son, Daniel Meyer; and one sister, Katie Reinhard. He is survived by his brother Randy & wife Susan Wiley of Valdosta, GA; two step-daughters, Jane & husband Lawrence Wilson of Buffalo, MO and Vickie & husband Kenny Jamison of Buffalo, MO; five step-grandchildren, Eric Gronniger, Allen Meyer, Danny Meyer, Tashina Walton, and Derek Meyer; and 10 step-great-grandchildren. He also leaves other family members and many friends who will all truly miss him.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Cantlon Otterness & Viets Funeral Home with Pastor David Larimer officiating. Escorts will be Eric Gronniger, Allen Meyer, Danny Meyer, Will Walton, Kenny Jamison, and Nick Jamison. Interment will be in the Mt.

Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of the Cantlon Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Mt.
