Linwood’s Obituary Funeral service for Linwood Gary Williams, 72, of Hanceville will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Hanceville Funeral Home chapel with Reverends Bill Leonard and Brandon Striplin officiating. Interment will follow at Livingston Chapel Cemetery in Crane Hill. His family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening beginning at 5:30 p.m. The son of the late Carlton and Laura Hancock Williams was born in Cullman on June 6, 1946 and he entered his eternal rest on January 21, 2019 in Birmingham, Alabama.

He was a member of Ryan’s Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and playing golf. He is survived by sons; Jason (Karen) Williams and Keith (Kim) Williams. Grandchildren Lindsey (Micah) Lamb, Jonathan, Madison and Colton Williams.

Also surviving are a brother, Hilton Williams and a sister, Patricia Baker. He was preceded in death by brothers, Harold and Jerry Wayne Williams.
