Lisa’s Obituary Lisa Y. Burton, age 59, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 27, 2019, at her rural Fowler, Kansas residence. She was born October 28, 1959, at Napa Valley, California, the daughter of Narvonna Rowland. After high school, she joined the United States Navy serving for several years.

Upon her discharge, she began her career as a caregiver, painter, storm shelter saleswoman, and later in life, a rancher and a loving grandma (Lili). On September 12, 2015, she married Ed Burton at Coldwater, Kansas. He survives.

Other survivors include three stepdaughters, Missy Burton of East Hampton, Connecticut, Jodie Ward of Richmond Hill, Georgia, and Lacey Ford of Topeka, Kansas; three brothers, Mark Crandall and wife Tammy of Idaho, Mike Crandall and wife Tina of McAlester, Oklahoma, and Rich Rowland and wife Melissa of Edmond, Oklahoma; a stepbrother, Kurt Crandall of Janesville, Wisconsin; her mother, Narvonna Rowland; a sister, Tina Lanham and husband Terry of McAlester, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a son Jake Ryan Crandall on May 9, 2016; and grandparents, Dorothy and Leonard Lowrey. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2019, at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade, Kansas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 2, 2019, at the Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home, McAlester, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in the Bower Cemetery, Eufaula, Oklahoma. The family would welcome memorials to the Mayo Clinic or the National Rifle Association in care of the funeral home.
