Lizabeth J. “Libby” Gerhardt, age 35 of Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois. She was born August 15, 1983, in Charleston, South Carolina, the daughter of Mark A. Gerhardt, of Tokyo, Japan, and Pamela J. (Paul) Gerhardt of Edwardsville. Libby operated a landscaping business in the Edwardsville area for many years, she was currently working in the deli at DK’s Market in Hamel, Illinois.

Besides her parents Libby is survived by her paternal grandmother, Marion Reynolds of Edwardsville; a step sister, Bailey McCormick of Edwardsville; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She will be cremated according to her wishes. There will not be any visitation or services at this time.
