Lloyd E. Christopher, 91, of McGraw, NY, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the Cortland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing, Cortland, NY. Mr. Christopher was born in Cortland, NY, on July 26, 1927, the son of the late Elson and Mary Ricky Christopher. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a member of the McGrawville Baptist Church.

He retired from the Sealtest Milk Plant, Homer, in 1980 after 32 years of service. Throughout his life he enjoyed helping his brother on the farm, spending time at his cottage in Canada, skiing, gardening, and traveling with his wife. Most important to him was his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Beulah Fox Christopher, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Harley and Orvis Christopher. Funeral services will be held at the McGrawville Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. with his pastor, Reverend Fran Cochran, officiating.

Burial will be in McGraw Cemetery at a later date. The family will be present to receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the start of the service at 2:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mr. Christopher may be directed to the McGrawville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 517, McGraw, NY 13101.
