Obituary for Lloyd Edward Richardson Lloyd Edward Richardson, 1930 – 2018 Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and friend passed away on July 11, 2018 in Dillon. Lloyd is survived by Bessie, his loving wife of 30 years, along with their 12 children: Gail (Craig) Hansen, Alan Richardson, Beth (Mike) Strickling, W. John (Rebecca) Hulet, Willard (Cori) Hulet, Wade (Joyce) Hulet, Ruth Owen, Sarah (Christian) Hinckley, Carol (John) Eads, Wayne (Julie) Hulet, Wendell (Levic) Hulet, and Mary (Bill) Kemph. He is also survived by his younger brother Louis (June) Richardson, 55 grandchildren, 118 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, and a large extended family.

Lloyd was predeceased by his parents Albert J. and Mary Frances Paine Richardson and 7 grandchildren. Lloyd graduated from Beaverhead County High School in 1949. He served in the US Army during the Korean War as a communications specialist.

Then Lloyd worked several years as a Plumber, prior to beginning his career with the US Postal Service. After 31 years he retired from the Dillon Post Office in 1990. He was a member of the Gold Nuggets Square Dance club and an avid RC airplane builder and operator.

Lloyd will be given full Military Honors during a private family memorial. A celebration of life in honor of Lloyd’s 88th Birthday will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018. Open House 4 – 6 p.m. at the Legacy Activity Center, 1000 Hwy 91 S, Dillon, Montana.
