Lois Anne Birr (Hauschild) died in her home on February 24, 2019 in Alexandria, MN due to natural causes. She was 71. Lois was born on June 15, 1947 in Hendricks, MN to her parents, Hugo & Ellen Hauschild.

Lois was a patient and supportive person with a passion for her family, puzzles, crossword puzzle books, and books. She had a smile that made everyone smile that was around her and a laugh that was contagious. Lois is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and James Vedral of Alexandria, MN; her son and Fiancée, Scott Birr & Courtney Niemann of Brandon, MN; six grandchildren, Dustin, Rebecca, & Jessica Vedral, Taylor Birr, and David & Austin Scott; 2 brothers, James Hauschild (Mary), Robert Hauschild, and 2 sisters, Karen (Chuck) Banta and Mary Carol Hauschild, and many other extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugo & Ellen; her brother, Richard “Dick” Hauschild; and her daughter, Brenda Rae. Lois will be buried in a private family ceremony at a later date. A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, March 21 from 6-9pm at Perkins Restaurant in Alexandria, MN.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lois’ life. The family has requested for no flowers due to the location of celebration.
