Frankfort – Lois Pearl Warren Cook, age 87, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019. Services will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Friday, May 17, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Gene Roberts officiating, assisted by Melissa Patillo.

Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Ms. Cook was born in Frankfort on February 28, 1932, to the late Charles and Maggie Semones Warren.

She was a retired from Frankfort Regional Medical Center after serving many years as a nurse technician and a member of New Life Church. She is survived by her children, Sonny Barnes (Judy), Larry Barnes (Susan), and Terry Barnes (Brenda); and by 9 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Barnes, and siblings, Charles Allen Warren and Ruby Elizabeth Warren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Barnes, Timothy Allen Barnes, Willie Parsons, Harold Hall, Timothy Hall, and William Michael Barnes. Honorary will be Braydon Barnes and Isaiah Barnes. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care, 663 Teton Trail, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.

Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.
