Lois E. FIscus December 13, 1929 – March 16, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Lois E. Fiscus, 89. former New Raymer area resident, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born December 13, 1929, in Warrens, WI to David & Freida Alvard.

Lois graduated from Longmont High School in Longmont, CO. On June 28, 1947, she married Glen E. Fiscus in St. Francis, KS. The Fiscus family lived in the New Raymer community for more than 35 years.

While living there Lois worked as a cook at the Prairie School. Lois & Glen moved to Eaton and owned and operated the Wagon Wheel Café. Lois loved to cook and was known for the excellent pies, cinnamon rolls and krautburgers she baked.

She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and playing bingo. Survivors include her husband, Glen E, Fiscus of Eaton, CO; 4 children, Sandra Patti and Lonnie Fiscus both of Cheyenne, WY and Connie Shapley and Rita Breazeale both of Eaton, CO; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and her parents.

A visitation will be Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 12 – 3 PM at Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at 10:30 AM at the New Raymer Community Church. Interment will follow in the New Raymer Cemetery.
