Lois’ Obituary Lois E. Tagge, 91, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019. She was born on December 21, 1927 in Chicago, IL to Peter and Martha Jurczyk. Lois met William R. Tagge at a dance in Chicago and they married in 1945.

She was very musical and enjoyed playing the piano and the accordion. Lois was an artistic person and also enjoyed sewing. Lois and William moved a lot before settling in Green Bay.

After William passed, she met her special friend Harold. They enjoyed dancing, playing cards and attending auctions. Her faith was a very important part of her life and she was a longtime member of St. Agnes Parish.

Lois is survived by her children, Sunny (Louis) Archambault, Jerry (Betty) Tagge, Leslie Tagge, and Lois (Ed) VanDenHeuvel; grandchildren, Scot, Nate, Zac, Kelly, and Keri; and her special friend, Harold Merkl. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Tagge Sr.; son, William R. Tagge Jr.; and three grandchildren, Karen Marie, Michael Mason, and Heather Fuller. Visitation will be held at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave.

, from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 1. Visitation will continue at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St, from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev. Patrick C. Beno officiating.
