Lois Heimlich January 18, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Lois Esther Heimlich, age 77, of Grove City, died Friday, January 18, 2019. She was born October 27, 1941, in Sissiton South Dakota, the daughter of Rev. John and Helen (Thom) Melchert.

She was a University of Minnesota graduate. She worked as a Branch Office Administrator for Edward Jones for 20 years until her retirement. She was married to Rev.

Gerald Heimlich for 52 years. She is survived by her husband; daughters, Lynn, Carrie, and Kathy; son, John and his wife Angie; brothers Paul (Joyce), Mark, and Luke (Janice) Melchert; brother-in-law, Curt (Jan) and sister-in-law, Betty Heimlich. Her grandchildren, a great joy in her life, are Jeremy II, Andrew, Owen, and Emily.

She has numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and many friends. She was faithful in her worship and service to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A service of thanksgiving and praise to God will be held on February 2, 2019, at 10:30 AM, at St. John Lutheran Church, 6135 Rings Rd.

, Dublin, OH. A luncheon will follow the service and all are invited to come and share memories of Lois. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church Building fund.
