OBITUARY Lois I. Rippin September 20, 1940 – January 6, 2019 Lois Irene (Stutzman) Rippin entered into the Light of God on Sunday, January 6, 2019. Lois was born September 20, 1940 to Jack and Irene Stutzman of Johnstown, PA where she grew up. In December 1960 she married Rev.

Dr. Kenneth Rippin. She worked as a legal secretary in Johnsonburg, PA and more recently for Klett, Rooney, Lieber and Shorling in Pittsburgh, PA. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris College in her fifties fulfilling the promise to herself to complete her college degree.

Lois was a gifted artist and enjoyed painting with her art group and sharing her paintings with family and friends. She was an active member of the Ingomar United Methodist Church where she led a small group, taught Sunday School and volunteered on several committees. She enjoyed reading, spending time visiting the family farm, and traveling.

Lois is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ken, her sister Kay Sellers of Atlanta, GA, and three daughters, Shari and Bryan Tarleton of Brunswick, Maine; Susan Rippin and Mark Winter of Wilmington, Delaware; and Amy Rice also of Brunswick, Maine. She was a proud Grandmother of seven and a Great-Grandmother of five. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Ingomar United Methodist Church on Thursday, Jan.

10 at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that Memorial Donations be made to the Ingomar United Methodist Church, Memorial Fund-1501 West Ingomar Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
