LOIS’ Obituary Lois Jean King-Williams, the second of five children, was born on November 16, 1944 to Charlie King and Josie Mae Sanders-King in Houston, Texas. She attended public school in H.I.S.D. and Lee College in Baytown were she received a Culinary degree.

Later, she decided to attend Cosmetology School at Espinola Beauty College. Lois retired after working 20 years as a License Cosmetologist. Lois accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age.

She join St. John Missionary Baptist Church #3 on March 24, 1991 under the leadership of Pastor W. F. Thorn. After the death of her Pastor, she moved her membership to On-Track Missionary Baptist Church serving as Usher. In 2009, she rejoined St. John under the leadership of Pastor S. C. August.

On February 06, 2011, Lois rededicated herself and was baptized by Pastor August. She was a faithful member that served in the Mission Department, Women of Purpose, and the Pastor’s Aide. For a brief period, she also served in the Senior Choir.

In 1960, Lois was united in Holy Matrimony to Eugene Wade Williams. They remained a loving couple until his demise on February 12, 1971. On Monday, March 25, 2019, God dispatched His angel to deliver Lois to her eternal home.

She is now reunited with her loving husband (Eugene Wade Williams), her beloved parents (Charlie and Josie Mae King), brothers (Fred King, and Charles Russell King), and god brother (David Benjamin). She Left to cherish her loving memories are her beloved and loving nephew (whom she raised from birth as her son), Charles R. King-Grimes “aka KaTausha” (Ramuntu); two sisters, Lucy King Harrell (Johnny) and Sandra King August (Charles); one brother, Troy Thomas; one aunt and uncle, Mary Sanders Wilson and Faris Wilson; extended family members: one brother and sister, Freddie Moore (Houston) and Debra Moore (Denver); 7 nieces, Venus (Michael), Angela (Wavie), Evelyn, Artellais, Tre-Keyla, Tania, and Tamera; 6 nephews, Demetrice (Bridgette), Lester (Tracy), Alex (Trina), Arsenio (Twanna), Kameron, and Jamarus; the Turner Family; a host of great nephews, great nieces, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
