OBITUARY Lois JoAnn CHEEVER January 29, 1928 – July 20, 2018 Lois JoAnn Cheever, 90, of Winter Garden Florida, passed away on July 20, 2018. Lois was born on January 29, 1928 in Roby, Texas to the late Mrs. Cecil Esther (nee; Dale) and Mr. Morgan Underwood Bale. Lois married the love of her life, Lawrence “Larry” Cheever, and spent 69 beautiful years together.

She spent a few years as a registered nurse, and then left the medical world to raise her 6 children. Lois volunteered for many types of position at church over the years. She was a Sabbath School Teacher/Superintendent, Deaconess, Treasurer and Pathfinder Counselor.

She and Larry loved to travel in their van, by plane or cruise to see natural beauty, historic sites, friends and family. Lois loved to sew and read; two things she didn’t have much time for in her years of raising the family. Gardening and canning produce kept her busy from Larry’s garden.

Lois is survived by her husband, Larry, her children, Kenneth, Richard, Randal, Melvin, Betty and Robert David. She also leaves 10 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July, 29, 2018 at 9:00 AM at the Apopka Seventh-day Adventist Church.
