Obituary for Lois Lorraine Brubaker Sawyer – Lois Lorraine Brubaker, 85, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018, at South Wind Home in Pratt, KS. She was born September 5, 1933 in Quinter, Kansas to Ralph Carter and Verna May (Wolf) Eller. On August 15, 1953, she married Joel Andrew Brubaker in Rossville, IN.

Lorraine was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church at Sawyer, KS. She is survived by her husband, Joel, two sons, Kent & Ann Brubaker of Sawyer, KS and Michael & Renee Brubaker of Ft. Worth, TX, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a brother, Sylvan Eller of Union, OH, two sisters-in-law, Gladys Eller of Rossville, IN and Jane Burkhalter of Camden, IN and a brother-in-law, Donald Brubaker of Sawyer, KS.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church at Sawyer, KS. Burial will follow at Pleasantview Cemetery, next to the church.

Memorials may be made to South Wind Home or Kindred Hospice in care of the Larrison Mortuary.
