Lois Mae (Peters) Schoof, 97 of Union Mills, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at home. She was born August 14, 1921in Gilman, Wisconsin to John and Lena (Werner) Peters. On June 21, 1941 in Kingsbury, she married Victor E. Schoof who passed away March 18, 1990.

Lois is survived by her children Sharon (Ralph) Erwin and Wayne (Peggy) Schoof both of Union Mills, eight grandchildren Colleen (Brian) Hunsley, Pat Ferreira, Kim (Daryl) Iseminger, Dustin (Erin) Erwin, Sharalee Falls, Jeffery Klemz, Scott (Sandy) Klemz, and Chris (Wanda) Schoof; 31 great grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Barry, 4 sisters and 1 brother. Lois was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church in Union Mills.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 9th at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 110 E. Hamilton St. in Union Mills. Pastor Kathleen McKenzie and Rev. Gene Flickinger will co-officiate.

Burial will be in Union Mills Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, at the church, from 3-7 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church.
