Lois Roberta Goldschmidt, 80, of Columbia, MO, and formerly of Wichita, KS, passed on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Lois was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 5, 1938 to Erving and Estelle Priceman and they preceded her in death. Her younger brother, George Priceman, of Wichita, KS, and Los Angeles, also preceded her in death.

On July 17, 1960, she married Daniel Goldschmidt and lived four decades in Wichita, KS, dedicated to teaching and supporting special needs elementary school students and raising three children. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and her Master’s (MEd) degree in Special Education from Wichita State University. She spent her final decades in Columbia, MO, with family, and was surrounded by friends and neighbors.

Lois is survived by her children, Steven and Michael Goldschmidt, of Columbia, MO, and Andrew Goldschmidt of Olney, MD; five grandchildren, Benjamin Goldschmidt, Conrad Goldschmidt, Sasha Goldschmidt, Sarah Moss, and Meagan Hill; and two great-grandchildren Iyanna and John Moss. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Columbia Access Arts at www. schoolofservice.org.
