Lois Virginia Stringer April 11, 1930 – May 03, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Lois Virginia Robertson Stringer was born April 11, 1930 in Bienville, La. and was called to her Heavenly Home on May 3, 2019. Mrs. Stringer was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Inez Stringer Morgan, her husband, David Leon Stringer and her parents, Agnes Shows Robertson and William Robertson.

She is survived by four daughters, Kay Stringer Thomas and husband Johnny, Dixie Stringer Coleman, Valarie Stringer Allbritton and Renee Stringer; sister Urilda Smith; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, a niece and three nephews. Mrs. Stringer was a graduate of Jonesboro-Hodge High School in the class of 1947. She was an accomplished artist, seamstress and an excellent, passionate horticulturalist.

She loved to fish, hunt, spend time outdoors and bird watching. Mrs. Stringer was a retired beautician and was also retired from Wal-Mart in Jonesboro. She will always be remembered as a wonderful Daughter, Sister, Mother, hard worker with a quick wit and was always giving hand-made gifts to friends, family and those that she loved.
