Lona Lee Bradshaw, 75, of Columbia passed away on July 12, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. Services celebrating her life will be held at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2018. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until time for the service Lona was born May 28, 1943, in Hatton to Clifton Early and Lucy Irene (Johnson) VanVacter and was raised in Columbia.

On June 17, 1961, she married Billy Joe Bradshaw whom she met at Hickman High School; he preceded her in death on January 3, 2017. Lona was employed with Candlelight Lodge as a Nurse’s Aide until her retirement. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Bradshaw of Los Angeles, CA; son, Joseph Bradshaw of Columbia, and two grandchildren, Andrew McCully and Brianna Bradshaw. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted, care of Kimberly Bradshaw, for Lona’s beloved newborn granddaughter, Brianna Elizabeth Bradshaw.
